The World I Came Here to Create
Today is Tanabata, a day when many people write their wishes and send their hopes to the heavens.
I have always loved the beauty of that tradition. Taking a moment to listen to our heart and acknowledge what we truly long for is a powerful thing.
But this year, rather than making a wish, I feel called to make a declaration.
Over the years, I have come to see life as a field of infinite possibilities. Instead of wishing for something that feels absent, I choose to align myself with a possibility that already exists and consciously participate in bringing it into reality.
Throughout my childhood, I questioned things that seemed normal to everyone else and sensed contradictions between what people said and what they truly felt. It wasn't always easy. Like many of us, I eventually learned how to fit in, adapt, and hide my truth in order to belong.
Yet the voice within never disappeared.
And so, on this Tanabata day, I would like to share the prayer that lives deep in my heart:
May all beings be free to exist and express their true nature as freely as possible, and shine as they were always meant to. May we all co-create a world of deep and great harmony together.
I do not believe such a world will be created by someone else, nor do I believe it will simply appear one day.
I am fully aware that harmony begins within.
If I wish to contribute to a more harmonious world, I must first cultivate harmony within myself. This means questioning old assumptions, releasing what no longer serves me, and continually learning to live in greater alignment with my heart.
It is a journey I am still walking.
Slowly, little by little, I find myself becoming more peaceful, more authentic, and more connected to what truly matters.
I realise this vision may sound unrealistic to some people. A dream too idealistic for the world we live in.
But I am completely sincere.
I do not feel the need to make myself bigger than I am, nor smaller in order to fit in. I simply wish to be fully myself.
Just as nature creates beauty through diversity, I believe there is a place for every voice, every gift, and every soul within the greater tapestry of life, including those who we consider bad, wrong or ugly. They are with us for a reason, and we are with them for a reason.
Perhaps it is because our world often feels far from harmony that we have such a powerful opportunity to learn, grow, and remember.
For many years, I hid parts of myself because I feared being misunderstood. But I have come to realise that being understood by everyone is not the goal.
What matters is living truthfully.
I know there are many people carrying dreams, visions, and truths they rarely speak aloud. If I can contribute anything, perhaps it is the courage to take one step closer to living from the heart.
So I leave these words here as a record of my soul's prayer.
I believe the outer world reflects the inner world we carry within us.
For that reason, I will continue tending to my own inner landscape with care. I will continue cultivating harmony within myself, gently releasing what separates me from my true nature and from the deeper connection that exists between all things.
And I dedicate myself, with all the sincerity and passion I possess, to the creation of a world where all beings are free to be exactly as they are. A world where diversity is celebrated rather than feared, where life is honoured in all its forms, and where each unique expression contributes to a greater harmony.
This may seem like an impossible dream to some.
Yet it is the prayer my soul continues to whisper.
And so, step by step, day by day, I choose to help bring that world into being.
This is the world I came here to create.
